Prabalmachi is a quaint little village situated half-way up a mountain (such a plateau or ledge is called a “Machi” in Marathi) hidden in the hills off the old Mumbai – Pune highway in the base of Prabalgad & Kalavantin durg.
Experience the magical sun-rise and sun-set view, Sahyadri ranges, Salman Khan’s gigantic farm house down the valley, Matheran hill, Gadhi River, Chanderi and Peb forts and the city of Mumbai. You can experience the twinkling lights of Panvel, Navi Mumbai and nearby areas from this altitude (1500 foot).

Itinerary:
Day 01:
Arrival at the base of the Prabalmachi by 04:00 pm.
Following a small introduction session, start ascending to the campsite.
An hour trek to campsite through the lush forest and settle to witness beautiful sunset.
Evening relax at campsite amidst the base of Prabalgad and Kalavantin Fort.
Enjoy the bonfire, twinkling stars, valley and mountain view.
Relish on the dinner. Overnight stay in twin sharing tents.
Day 02:
Witness the foggy morning and beautiful sun rising from the centre of of Prabalgad and Kalavantin Fort .
Have a small warm up, enjoy breakfast and start trekking to Prabalgad.
Reach at the top. Capture the beauty of the endless view, surrounding peaks. Rest.
Start descending back, have lunch at campsite. Reach base by 05:00 pm.
